For the next several months I'm going to be making pretty regular 2-3 day trips to a relatively smallish city. I mean, third biggest city in the state but the state is Wisconsin, so. I've posted on the proper subs here but no matches yet, so I'm wondering whether it's even worth any effort to try a location-based app type thing while I'm up there. Any thoughts or recommendations?
I met my last boyfriend on Match, but that was 9+ years ago. I have friends who are on Bumble, Hinge, and Tinder and don't have the most positive things to say about them. Are there other apps that I am forgetting? Is Tinder still considered a 'hook up' app? Any advice is appreciated. Best hookup apps for business travel? PS keep in mind I'm about to turn 47. That has nothing to do with tech savvy, but might affect which apps would be most successful for me.
I mean ACTUAL dating, not tinder (which is mainly for hooking up). I’m kinda lonely and I’ve been single for a few years. I’ve never actively looked for someone, but my friends suggest I should. The hardest part about dating apps for me is I don’t find that many people... attractive. But I’ve only tried a couple. Tinder was a gold mine of cute guys that were interesting to talk to, but they’re all looking for hook ups.
