Name: Victoria Rose Collins Nickname: Vicky, Tori (used by her siblings), Rosie (only by Audrey) Age: 20 Height: 5'7 Birthday: July 23rd, 1992 Sign: Leo Gemstone:Onyx Blood Type: AB- Fav. Food: Sweets, she eats them sparingly to keep her figure, but she absolutely adores lollipops Hated Food: Exotic food, she’s a down home, pancakes and grits, hamburgers and hot dogs type of girl School: Destiny City University, got in on scholarship. Hobbies:Family – Vicky’s family is the most important thing to her in the world. She goes to every birthday, every family reunion, basically she’s at any family event. Growing up she spent as much time with her siblings and cousins as possible, hating to play by herself. If anyone was to threaten or god forbid actually hurt any of her family she wouldn’t hesitate to kick some a**. Ever since she moved to Destiny City she’s written home to her parents and siblings once a week every week, updating them on her life and how she’s doing. Primping – Victoria loves to look pretty. It’s one of her highest priorities. She’ll spend hours in front of a mirror figuring out what hair style will make her look the best. Or just what colour lipstick she should wear. Her makeup collection has absolutely exploded since she moved to Destiny City; there wasn’t much time to make herself pretty in Courtland since she was always working the farm. She takes twice as long as any normal person to get ready and go out and she refuses to leave if she doesn’t look perfect. She loves getting manicures and pedicures, and don’t even get her started on massages. She adores the spa and goes there any chance she gets. They didn’t have spas in Courtland, unless you counted the mud that the pigs wallowed in (which Vicky didn’t). Youtube – After all that primping and preening Vicky has to show it off! She loves to record little half hour clips and toss them up on Youtube. She talks about life in Destiny City, comparing it to Courtland and how crazy it is in the ‘big city’. She’ll also vary it up with movie reviews (the movie theatre had 20 screens! The one in Courtland had two, she was still overwhelmed), and sometimes even book reviews. Her little show seems to be a hit, having a decent following. She does the show for herself more than anything, she loves the attention from all the ‘little people’. Down home country girl – Having lived on a farm all her life Vicky knows quite a bit about running one- even though she tries to hide it. She can hog tie a pig, milk a cow, and shear a sheep amongst other skills. Even knowing all of that, she would rather use the botany skills she picked up growing corn and potatoes. Her little vegetable garden is the only evidence of her farming lifestyle. Well, that and the fact that Vicky’s physically stronger than she looks. She doesn’t have washboard abs, or giant biceps (ew, she’d die if she did, girls shouldn’t be covered in muscles), but years of hard work have toned her body. She’s not ashamed of her family’s background as farmers (Her family had the best farm in Courtland according to Vicky, everyone else’s just paled in comparison); she just doesn’t want to be seen as a cow-tipping hick (even though she’s done enough cow-tipping in her day to be considered one), especially since she’s going to Crystal. Virtues:Responsible – Growing up on a farm Victoria’s learned the meaning of responsibility. She’s had chores for as long as she can remember, and she knows the value of keeping your word. When she’s giving something to complete she gets it done and to the best of her ability. She’s not one to slack off or procrastinate, because really, what’s the point? You still have to do it and by procrastinating you’re really just making it worse. She rather get things done, and get them done right. If Vicky tells you a thing is going to get done, then you can bet money that it’ll happen. Confident – Victoria knows she’s better than you, and knowing that gives her a huge ego boost. Vicky’s super confident in everything she does, failure isn’t an option, only succeeding and being the best is. She knows she’s hot, and she knows how to get what she wants and she’ll use that to the best of her ability. Victoria won’t hesitate to ask a question if she doesn’t understand something, or approach a random stranger to get directions. She frequently spends anywhere from fifteen minutes to a half hour staring into the mirror telling herself how wonderful and awesome she is so that she can boost her confidence that much more. Personal Acheiver – Vicky will most definitely look a gift horse in the mouth. She’s well aware that there’s no easy way in life, and anyone that says different is just selling something. She avoids deals that seem too good to be true, and naturally doubts anything that seems too outrageous. She’s quick on the uptake, and is good at sifting through all the bull s**t to get to the truth of the matter. If someone offers her something significant (a job just because she knows someone, large sums of money, etc) she'll decline. She wants to make her own way through life and not have to rely on others. Unless of course that's how she planned things to work out from the beginning. Vicky's fine with taking things from others if she's spent the time manipulating them into giving them to her, using someone to get what you want is a hard job after all. She hates to owe people favours, so the only kinds of freely gifts she will accept are superficial gifts (flowers, candy, shoes, etc), but don't expect a gift back from her. Silver Tongue – As Vicky’s always telling people, just because you grew up on a farm doesn’t mean you’re dumb. Victoria’s gifted, mainly in communications. She seems to have the easiest time in the world talking to people; she never got nervous before group presentations in school. Not only is she at ease talking in front of people, she can quickly figure out the best way to talk to them to get the desired effect. Whether it be mediating an argument, or convincing a boy to buy her things. She also has one of those voices that are generally pleasing to listen to, like Morgan Freeman only less manly. Flaws:Vain – Victoria loves her mirror, she loves to sit in front of it and just marvel at how pretty she is. She goes to great lengths to keep herself up, go look up ‘high maintenance’ in the dictionary and there’s a picture of Victoria. Back in Courtland she was never able to spend so much time on her appearance since she was always working the farm, but now the extra hours are spent figuring out ways to make her look even more beautiful, if that’s even possible (and she’s not sure it is). She hates getting dirty if she doesn’t have to; she’s been in a lifetime of mud working on the farm thank you very much! She tries to avoid getting dirty the best that she can, but if her job (as a civilian or Negaverse agent) requires her to she'll brave the dirtiest places without complaint. Shallow – Looks are everything to Vicky. It really doesn’t matter what your personality is, because frankly she doesn’t care. She only wants to be seen with pretty people and luckily for her Destiny City seems to have an overrun of the gorgeous and attractive. All her relationships (bar family ties) are completely superficial. The only thing they’re good for is to be used to get things, or places. She can act the part of a friend wonderfully (in day to day life Vicky doesn’t treat people like crap only because she knows that one day, she might need to use them for something), but she doesn’t really care. All her niceties are fake and if you come to her with a real problem she’ll just blow you off. The only reason she has friends really is to use them to get what she wants. Elitist – Victoria is better than you and she’s well aware of it. You know who else is better than you? Her family. In Vicky’s mind the only people that matter at all are her and her family. Everyone else is pretty much worthless and a waste of space. It’s possible that one day, someone would be able to actually be valuable in her eyes but they’d have to be pretty ******** amazing. Thinking you’re the best all the time can give one an inflated ego and Vicky definitely has that. She thinks she’s amazing and can do anything, which obviously isn’t true. When she runs into people who actually are better than her (see: Charonite or Beryl), she gets a mean reality check which throws her world for a loop for a couple weeks. Instead of being supremely confident she begins to doubt herself, and her little used journal gets pulled out so she has a place to vent her doubts where no one can see them. Being constantly pompous and self-absorbed leaves her with no actual friendships and so she’s pretty much empty on the inside, except for her family. Once people figure out her true nature, they generally ditch her and never look back. The loss of a friend doesn't bother her as much as the loss of a resource, and all that time she wasted investing into them to get what she wanted, but ultimately in the end, Victoria knows she will get the better of them - just wait and see! Unforgiving – If you cross her Victoria will never forget it. She has a mind like a vault, and she holds on to grudges like it’s nobody’s business. It doesn’t matter how much you apologize, or if whatever you did was an accident, frankly Vicky just doesn’t give a damn. You did something to cross her, and that’s enough to get you on her s**t list for life. The only people she’s willing to forgive are those related to her, everyone else just has to bear her wrath. 05.11.10 - Solo 1 (845 Words) I have to what?! Victoria Collins stood in front of the gates of Crystal Academy for Girls, a manila folder full of papers in a large knock off Coach purse that Violet had gotten her when she went on a trip to New York. The bag was a light brown with the mirrored C’s of the Coach logo emblazoned all over it in a darker shade of brown. The corner protectors and accents were a bright pink, and the handles a light beige. Vicky loved the purse to death and took it everywhere, even if it wasn’t real. The bag even matched what she was wearing today: a dark brown bubble skirt that hit just above the knees tied off around the waist with a hot pink ribbon, the bow resting on her hip and a crème chiffon and lace peasant top. Her accessories complimented the outfit, her shoes were brown satin open-toes high heels, small brown bows adorning the back, the actual heels being a metallic silver. Her mane of light blue hair was kept out of her face with headband covered in brown cloth accented with pink stitching. Sapphire eyes took in the grounds of Crystal Academy, they didn’t have anything like this back home in Courtland. There was one high school that everyone went to and nowhere had gates. Taking a deep breath she stood tall, she may come from a country farm, but she had just as much right to be there as anybody. More so in fact. She was a Collins, and she deserved the best. Striding forwards she pushed at the gates and surprisingly they were open, she guessed it must have been because it was during school hours. She opened the gates just wide enough to slip through and then pulled them closed behind her. She headed up to administrative office looking like she belonged, that was until she stumbled in the heels, barely catching herself before she fell. She looked around furtively to make sure no one saw her (thankfully no one did) and then started back on her way. She pushed open the doors to building and glanced around. ”Hello?” A blonde head suddenly appeared behind the desk and Vicky blinked. Where did she come from? She decided not to think about it and instead walked up to the secretary. ”Hi, I’m Victoria Collins, I’m transferring in.” She smiled digging into her purse to pull out the manila folder, holding it up. The secretary arched a brow and then flipped through an appointment book. ”Sit down Miss Collins, someone will be with you in a moment.” Victoria nodded and went over to one of the seats that lined the walls, very carefully crossing one leg over the other. This is what the prim and proper ladies did in movies, right? She wondered if their skirts got as tight as hers, maybe you weren’t supposed to cross your leg in bubble skirts, she didn’t really know. She wiggled a bit, trying to get comfortable. The minutes ticked by and when she was about to get up and ask how much longer it would be a red head came out from one of the offices. ”Miss Collins?” Vicky’s head perked up and she smiled. ”That’d be me.” She went to stand up, but couldn’t get her legs uncrossed. With a little fidgeting she managed to uncross her legs and stand up. Trying to act nonchalant she brushed off her knees and then clicked her way over to the red head. The woman was understanding enough that she didn’t mention anything about the little situation. ”Right this way.” She followed the woman into her office and then sat down. Her counselor back in Courtland had told her that they might have different academic standards here in Destiny City, but she was hoping that she’d get lucky and they wouldn’t. Unfortunately for her she wasn’t lucky. An hour later she walked out of the office a slightly stunned expression on her face and her new Crystal Uniform in her hands. It seemed the standards between Courtland and Destiny City meant she had an extra two classes she needed to take before she could graduate. That was in addition to her normal classes. She’d have to take summer school classes if she wanted to graduate in the fall. She wasn’t too thrilled about summer school, but it was something she just had to do. She wasn’t going to go through another whole year of school if she could finish it up by doing some summer school. Her manila folder had been replaced by a sheaf of papers that indicated where her dorm was, and when her classes were. She had been told she could move in next week, which was nice. She didn’t want to overburden Audrey, she loved her cousin to death and beyond, but she knew what sharing a room was like when you weren’t used to it. Shifting her uniform to her other arm she headed to Audrey’s house. She had to tell her cousin the good and not so good news.
10.08.11 - Solo 2 (575 words) Broken Around, and around it goes. Where it stops nobody knows. Petalite was staring at the yellow Frisbee that she was twirling on one finger, the short rhyme drifting through her mind. It was a sign of her intense boredom that she was watching the Frisbee in the first place and not out collecting star seeds or terrorizing humans. She had planned to, but her heart wasn’t in it that night. She wasn’t even supposed to be out that night, she was supposed to be at a movie with Audrey, but then some emergency with Elzo had interrupted and her cousin had taken off after Vicky repeatedly told her it was okay and she didn’t mind cutting their girls night short. It was true, she didn’t mind, Elzo was her boyfriend after all and they could always see the movie another time. But now she was left with nothing to do but patrol as Petalite. She thought about hitting up a club but her pearls made her look like she was dressed more for a country club than a dance club. She wrinkled her nose at that thought. With a sigh she let her Frisbee disappear, waiting for her to summon it again, and pushed herself off the side of the building she was sitting on. The wind whipped through her hair as she fell, landing neatly on her feet in an alleyway. She brushed her dress off then walked out into the dim light of a nearby street lamp. Her thoughts were drifting wondering about whether or not Elzo was okay, while she didn’t particularly care for the boy one way or another Audrey cared about him and that meant Petal did as well. Again Petal felt that odd ping in her chest that she had felt in the lingerie store. Only this time she recognized it for what it was, loneliness. She shook the feeling off, or tried to at least, Victoria Collins was not one to be lonely of all things. She played with boys, chewed them up and spat them back out when she was done. She didn’t pine over them, or want to be loved and have a happy ending. Whatever that meant. But in spite of all that she found herself, or at least a small part of herself wishing that she could have something. Something warm and fuzzy and…..real. A boyfriend. Someone she would come home to everyday, could smile at and kiss and complain to. Someone who would spoil her rotten because he loved her, and not just because he was sleeping her. Maybe even someone that was in the Negaverse so that way she could share her secret identity with him. Growling with frustration Petalite punched a nearby concrete wall which did nothing but hurt her hand. Obsessing over something she would never have was stupid. And after Paulie she should know better. The tryst with the Courtland boy only lasted a year, but it was long enough and ended badly enough to put Victoria off relationships forever. Instead she turned into a man eater, using boys and dropping them afterwards feeling no remorse for the trail of broken hearts she left behind. Shaking her head she laughed to herself. “It’s stupid, all of it.” Gripped with a sudden need to hurt something she jumped up onto the roof tops taking off towards downtown where there would still be people milling about at this time of night.

12.01.10 - Solo 3 (503 words) Doubts Victoria Collins frowned at her reflection, holding up one lilac lock. The purple look really did not suit her. At first it had been fun, it shocked Blake at least, not to mention Audrey. But once the new factor wore off she realized it didn’t do much for her looks in general. Not that it made her unattractive by any means, just less gorgeous. Maybe she would go back to her natural blue. She wasn’t sure though, she felt like she needed to shake things up a bit. With a sigh she kicked a pair of boxers out of her way and flopped down on her bed. The boxers were Blake’s of course; he was the only guy she had been sleeping with lately which was odd for her. She wasn’t sure she liked it, sleeping with the same guy more than once. They’d sometimes even go out afterwards which was a new experience. She wasn't much into the dating scene. The lilac haired girl was more of a hit it and quit it type, but Blake… She could hear him in the shower, he had asked her to join but she had declined. She knew how their showers almost always ended and at the moment she wanted some time to think about what she was getting herself into. Rolling over on the bed she stared at the ceiling, arms flung above her head. She hadn’t liked a guy since…well since Paulie. That one relationship had completely ruined her view on men. But now she wasn’t sure, maybe she had decided too quickly. Sure, Blake could be a jerk but he was at least honest about it when he was. Shaking her head she rolled over again. She was over thinking, looking too far ahead at things that weren’t even going to happen. She and Blake had sex and went on dates sometimes. That was it, it wasn’t like they were going to run off to Vegas and get married or something. Although..Vicky had to stifle a giggle at the thought of what Audrey’s face would look like if they did. She’d be so angry with her, but so shocked. Smiling she sat up and looked in the mirror again, back to solving the dilemma of her hair. Maybe orange, not bright traffic cone orange but a nice burnt orange, it’d give her a nice glow. Taking her hair she piled it on top of her head, turning one way and then the other. Maybe she’d even cut it too, but even before the thought was fully completed she dismissed it. She knew Audrey would kick her butt if she cut her hair without telling her. And Blake wouldn’t be very happy either. With a happy sigh she let go of her hair and slipped off the bed. Maybe she’d join Blake in the shower after all. ”Oh, Blaake.” She called out to the older boy as she slinked her way into the bathroom. She had a feeling they’d be late for dinner.
02.27.11 - Solo 4 (576 words) Terror ”She’s where?!” Victoria’s eyes were wide and she sat straight up in bed. Her baby cousin, her other half was in the hospital?! Her mind quickly started coming up with so many horrible things that could have happened, a feeling in her gut telling her it wasn’t just any accident that had hospitalized her cousin. It was those damn senshi, she was going to kill them all. She was out of bed and dressed in less than two minutes, and while she was tempted to become Petalite and run to the hospital she knew it wasn’t practical, even if it would burn off some of her worry. Instead her keys were grabbed off the hook, and her bag was slung over a shoulder. She ran out of the house, getting into her car her entire body humming with anxiety. Oh God, what if Audrey died?! That thought stopped her cold and she had to force herself to take a shaky breath. No, no Audrey couldn’t die, the Universe couldn’t be that cruel. With a shake of her head she started the car and pulled out of the driveway, concentrating on making sure her car stayed in her lane and that she didn’t blast down the road at a hundred miles an hour. It wouldn’t get her to the hospital any faster if she was pulled over for speeding. But the temptation was constantly there to stomp her foot down and drive as fast as she could to the hospital. She needed to know what was wrong with her cousin, damn it. Even driving the speed limit it didn’t take her long to reach the hospital, she was lucky and hit most the green lights on the way there. She parked haphazardly jumping out of the car and running into the hospital. She had gotten there at the same time as everyone else, and her sapphire eyes went from Elzo, to Aree, to her Aunt and Uncle. They were all here, oh god the sick feeling in the pit of her stomach wasn’t getting any better. She stood huddled close to the other two teens trying to tell herself it was going to be okay. Maybe she just got hit by a car, or something else that would be horrible but not life threatening. But all of her pep talk couldn’t take away that sick feeling that was tying her stomach into knots. And then the doctor came out. She turned her gaze on him, refusing to look scared. Instead she tried to keep herself composed, waiting for the news. When it came it hit like a brick. ’Severely injured’…’inoperable’…the words reached her ears and she bit the inside of her cheek. Those weren’t the words she had wanted to hear. Her fist clenched, trying to stay strong. She tried to hold onto the hopeful words, the doctor said she’d recover. She flinched slightly as Aree asked bluntly the question she had been worrying over since she heard the news. The doctor’s answer to that didn’t calm Victoria at all. After she heard alive, but not quite responding she crumpled into the nearest chair staring blankly at the floor. Oh God. She wasn’t dead, but there was no promise that she would stay that way. She didn’t realize that tears were tracking down her cheeks as she sat there, staring at the linoleum floors. All she could do was wait, with every minute feeling like an hour.

03.01.11 - Solo 5 (531 words) Escape She couldn’t stand being in Destiny City any longer. Audrey was still in the hospital and she hadn’t woken up yet. Victoria had spent the first day at her bedside, kept company by Elzo and her Aunt and Uncle, but it was just too hard looking at Audrey’s unconscious body. Too hard to think about what would happen if she never woke up. So, Victoria Collins did something she never did. She ran home. Not just to her cottage, but beyond that packing a bag and driving to the airport. She needed to see her mother, needed to be hugged by her dad. She missed her family desperately and Audrey’s life being on the line made her realize how easily she could lose them all. It could be her on that hospital, wandering the streets as Petal and fighting with senshi wasn’t exactly safe after all. It was dangerous, but that had never really sunk in until she saw Audrey. A giant chunk of her savings was spent at the airport buying a first class ticket to Courtland (even in her distressed state Vicky wasn’t one to fly coach). She didn’t care about the money though, there was always ways to get more when she returned to Destiny, for now she just needed to get out. The flight home was a long one and it wasn’t until she was halfway to Courtland that she realized she hadn’t even called her mother to tell her she was coming home, or why. She had been in such a rush to get out of the city that it didn’t even occur to her to give her family any warning. Hopefully it wouldn’t be a big deal, it shouldn’t be she was their daughter after all. The next thought that came to her was that she hadn’t told anyone in Destiny City she was leaving. She had just taken off. She wondered if Blake would be worried. They weren’t officially dating, hell they didn’t have any sorts of labels even after her weird break down on New Year’s Eve. She pushed away the ache she felt at that memory. She still didn’t quite understand the feelings she had for the lilac haired man. She had been tempted more than once to just walk away from him and end it completely to save herself the heartache she was sure was coming, but she had never managed to. Her attraction to him was much too strong. Dragging her thoughts away from Blake and those troubles she sighed staring out the small airplane window. She just needed to rest for a while, needed time to recharge her batteries and not worry about senshi, or her cousin dying, or any of that ridiculousness. The orange haired woman settled back into her seat closing her eyes. She hadn’t slept since she heard about Audrey being in the hospital. She had been too wired, too worried. Now on the plane she felt the exhaustion catching up to her, overwhelming her completely. Try as she might she couldn’t keep her sapphire eyes open, and with a soft sigh she fell into a deep sleep, looking peaceful for the first time in weeks.
